The Vandenbroek wagon is back and you know what that means…..The bounty from the earth is starting to roll in! Here’s what you will find this week from our produce vendors:

Cherries, black currants, raspberries, strawberries, gooseberries, apples, zucchini, lettuce, tomatoes, grape tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, peas, mushrooms, beans, peas, field cucumbers, english cucumbers, baby cucumbers, new potatoes, green onions, beets, carrots, swiss chard, kale, kohlrabi, turnip and fresh herbs

Prepared Foods

Why not stop and enjoy the day at one of the picnic tables and tap your toes to the happy music coming from the buskers? It’s going to be sunny and warm. Have a delicious snack with the kids or take something home. Or both!

The kids will love 100% Wagyu hot dogs from Wa’s Kobe Dogs. Stop for Just A Cup of locally roasted coffee with one of the baked goods from Tichelaar’s Farm. I can personally recommend their savoury pies to bring home with you for a delicious and easy meal.

Take home Lovin’ Oven baked goods (try their potato bread), the best cupcakes in town from Sweet Temptations, and artisan bread from Grain Revolution

That’s Not All

There’s a lot more to this market which makes it a one stop shop with even more to offer.

There is an amazing selection of locally raised meats from Top Market Meats. Don’t let their name fool you – they offer top quality cheese and eggs too.

The Burr’s & the Bee’s honey comes from beehives right here in Puslinch. And Rootham Gourmet Preserves and Sauces are available every weekend. Rootham makes their product with locally sourced ingredients. And if you haven’t tried their Fire Roasted Red Pepper Ketchup don’t wait another week to do so. It is simply delicious.

Come to the Aberfoyle Farmer’s Market open every Saturday until the end of October from 8am to 1pm at the Optimist Recreation Centre on Brock Road in Aberfoyle.
