‘Suspicious vehicle’ call leads to several charges

PUSLINCH – A Guelph man faces numerous charges after someone reported a suspicious vehicle outside a home here.

Wellington County OPP received a call about an unknown vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a residence on Victoria Road in Puslinch Township.

Police say officers attended the scene and located a male sleeping in a 2014 Nissan. During the investigation, the male provided a false name to officers and it was discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen on Sept. 19.

In the vehicle police located tools “commonly utilized for committing crime,” stolen property, and suspected methamphetamine.

Christopher Hulan, 38, of Guelph, is charged with obstructing a peace officer, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime and possession of methamphetamine.
