A Celebration of Life: Charles Ernest Hill


Peacefully, at St. Andrew’s Terrace in Cambridge on January 25,2016, Charlie Hill, formerly of Morriston, in his 84th year.

Survived by his first wife, Jean Rutherford. Father of Cathy (Greg), John (Cindy), Jamie (Susan), Pat (Bill), Jane (Barry), Rose (Blair), Charles (Janice), Chris (Michelle) and Melissa (Ryan). Grandfather of many grandchildren. Also survived by great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild!

Charlie was a loyal employee of Imperial Tobacco for over 35 years, serving as union president for many of those years. He was also a proud legion member, where he loved to go ballroom dancing.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11 a.m.
