Canada Post ‘Superboxes’ Broken Into In Puslinch

canada postMembers of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate three separate incidents that occurred over the weekend in Wellington County that involved Canada Post Superboxes being entered and damaged.

On March 19, 2016 at approximately 8:54 p.m. Wellington County OPP received a report that the Canada Post Superbox located at the corner of Bricker Avenue and Clegg Drive in Elora, Centre Wellington Township had been entered and damaged.

On March 20, 2016 at approximately 7:30 a.m. a second call was received that a Superbox located on Old Ruby Lane west of Victoria Road in Puslinch Township had been entered sometime overnight and was damaged.

A third call was received later that same day at approximately 6:17 p.m. that a Superbox located at Wellington Road 29 just north of Wellington Road 124 in Guelph-Eramosa Township had been entered and damaged.

It is unknown how much mail, if any, has been taken in these incidents or the estimate of damage done to the mailboxes.

Any person with information regarding these incidents is asked contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Wellington County OPP encourages residents to remove mail daily from mailboxes and to report any suspicious activity observed.

  1. We don’t even use ours…our mailman is so bad we went paperless and have packages delivered to our workplaces.
    He was batting around 80% success rate at his best.
