This week we celebrate the kids! It’s our annual Kids Day event.
That means we will have lots of fun FREE activities for the kids this weekend.Back by popular demand we will have scavenger hunts and a colouring contest. In addition to all of our wonderful vendors we have a whole bunch of special kid focused vendors.
Whistle stop co-op Preschool will have a play area and crafts for the little ones, Puslinch fire & rescue will be on hand to teach us about fire safety. For the first time ever Let’s talk Science from the University of Guelph will be teach us about healthy eating by way of cool hands on science experiments. Sealy Karate & Bears Cheer leading will be doing demonstrations all day. Come out an try a new activity. And don’t forget to stop by Cleo and her painting pals to get a cool face painting or glitter tattoo. She will be there from 8:30 to 12:30.
Sharp my knife will be there, so bring your knives and tools to get a spruce up.
Serenity Soap will be back for the first time this year and don’t forget to stop by Sweet Temptations Cupcakery, back this week.
We have lots of local produce available this week. It will likely be the last week for Strawberries so get there early! And for the first time this season carrots! Greens (red & green lettuce, swiss chard, kale, spinach, bok choy), beets, cucumbers & zucchini, peas, garlic scapes, radishes, sweet potatoes, rhubarb & herbs. Visit Warner Orchards, Parker Family Farms, Nith Valley Organics and Vandenbroeks Family Farm to see what individual selection each of these lovely vendors have.
Puslinch Soccer players, don’t forget to come into the market to get your free soccer snack and bottle of water. This week visit Vandenbroeks for a tasty snack.
