Fatal Accident In Puslinch


On July 16, 2016 at approximately 9:50 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal collision involving two motor vehicles on Wellington Road 35 north of Gore Road, Puslinch Township.

The lone occupant of one vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and all three people from the other vehicle were taken by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries. Their names will not be released until next of kin have been notified.

Guelph-Wellington Emergency Services (EMS) Waterloo Region EMS, Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services and the Wellington County Roads Department attended the scene.

The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by Technical Collision Investigators from the Wellington County OPP. Wellington Road 35 remains closed between Gore Road and Concession 1.
