Hooded Merganser Ducks Have Arrived In Puslinch

How lucky we are to be able to volunteer at Valens Lake and Christie Lake conservation areas. Every year we clean up and fix wood duck boxes throughout the winter in preparation for spring time occupancy. Then we monitor these nesting boxes during spring and summer breeding season. It is such a thrill to be briefly involved in the lives of these wood ducks and hooded mergansers.

Discover these conservation areas for yourself and rediscover Nature. Our first pair of hooded mergansers have already arrived. To read more on the wood duck go to our website at www.puslinchnaturallynativetrees.ca
