Guelph Resident Charged With Racing For Going 117km/h on Lake Road

On April 21, 2017 at approximately 12:50 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Lake Road near Sandy Shore Blvd. in the Township of Puslinch. The officer observed a male driving a 2015 Mazda 3 travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 117km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

23-year-old Adrian KERR of Guelph has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on June 7, 2017. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.

I agree with Mike , but not only Brock , Leslie road east of Hyw 6 is getting really bad , the speed some of these people are traveling at is a real hazard, especially with the hill and intersection at Watson , would like to see some radar on this side , lived here for many years and have yet to see patrol
