A Quarter Century of Helping

A 25th birthday party was held on Wed. August 23rd at 6981 Concession 4 in Puslinch Township and everyone was invited! And come they did, from Woodstock, Kitchener/Waterloo and many other places as well. The party however was for the furry kind, to celebrate the Donkey Sanctuary’s 25 years of existence.

The donkeys at the sanctuary were treated to lots of petting and brushing. Face painting was a popular activity. Since no one was allowed to ride any of the donkeys many children made do with a pretend ride on a colourful cement one. After visiting the donkeys you could sit on a blanket and enjoy your lunch or walk on one of the many trails.

This non profit organization is open every Sunday in May – October and in July\August every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations are gratefully accepted as your entrance fee.
