A Celebration Of Life: Riley, Sandra L. J.

RILEY (Gordon), Sandra Leah Jacquelyn – Of Aberfoyle, born March 13, 1940 in Guelph. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sandra on May 13, 2018.

Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Vera Gordon. Loving sister to Robert (Lis) Gordon, Roger (Audrey) Gordon and Anne (the late Brian) Shaw. Devoted mother of Lance (Stephanie), Leanne (Jim), Barclay and Anita (Susan). Adored grandmother “Gaga” of Brooke, Aaron, Alex and Andrew, known as “Grandma” to so many, and as “Hub” to so many more. Loved and cherished by her nieces and nephews. Will be fondly remembered by Diane and Peter Granka. Sandra was known for her beautiful singing voice and large heart, not to mention her out-of-this-world baking skills.

Family and friends may visit at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Duff’s Presbyterian Church in Puslinch on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 am. Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Sandra L. J. Riley in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
