Puslinch Raises Concern Over Sharing With UGDSB

Revisions to the Upper Grand District School Board’s community partnerships raised some flags at Puslinch council on April 6.

Council had received an email to inform the municipality about the board’s release of draft revisions to three board policies: Pupil Accommodation Reviews; Community Planning and Partnerships; and School Boundary Review.

At the April 6 council meeting Puslinch Mayor Dennis Lever said he had the opportunity to review the policies.

“It is an interesting policy in that it talks about working with communities – but that it would be at no cost to the board, and full cost recovery of any (school) facilities used,” said Lever…
