2016 Home Tour

Saturday, June 25, 2016

10am – 4pm

$25 land or boat

The Puslinch Lake Conservation Association Fundraising committee started the Home Tour event in 2005 as an additional way to raise funds for the on-going cleanup of Puslinch Lake (the largest kettle lake in Canada).

Up to a dozen pontoon boats are available for tour day. All the involved boat owners volunteer their boat, gas, and time for this event, and it is much appreciated. Most boats can accommodate up to +/- 8 people. The boat tour takes approximately 2.5 hours. Volunteers are at all designated dock locations, ready to assist the boats’ arrivals and departures; and numerous volunteers offer their time in the designated homes, greeting, directing, and answering questions about the home and/or the Lake.

The Tour by boat begins at the Old Marina restaurant and at McCormick’s Point off concession #1. Boats continually go around to each home dock on the Lake to pick-up or drop-off waiting guests. People can also take the tour by land using their own vehicle. Tickets cost $25 for either land or boat and can be purchased prior to the event date. Tickets are also available at the Old Marina gate that morning. There are a number of tickets available for purchase at each of the featured homes on the tour as well.
