UPDATED: Multiple Homes Involved In Puslinch Fire At Mini Lakes – 1 Injured

UPDATE: The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to investigate the cause.

Today at approximately 3:30 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with fire crews from the Puslinch Fire and Rescue Service responded to a structure fire at a condominium community on Wellington Road 34, near Aberfoyle, at the Mini Lakes Development.

Fire services are actively engaging in fire suppression at this time.

A total of four homes are involved with the families being displaced from them. Wellington County Victim Services are assisting the residents. Puslinch Fire Chief Goode has stated that the fire apparently started in a shed but the cause of the fire is still unknown.

One person has been transported to local hospital with minor injuries.

OPP and Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services are currently investigating the cause of the fire and the damage is estimated at more than 1 million dollars.
