McNeish, Robert (Bob) 1926 -2018

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday January 19, 2018. Bob led a good life. He was a loving husband and good father who provided for his family of nine children. He loved to keep busy. In his final years he was known as Bicycle Bob who repaired and sold used bicycles for charity. Bob worked on Weber’s Poultry Farm in Kitchener for many years, after which he had a career selling real estate in the K-W area. Bob had a deep faith in the Lord. Over the years he was a member of Presbyterian Churches in Conn, Kitchener, Guelph and Aberfoyle. Bob was a proud founding member of Calvin Presbyterian Church in Kitchener.

Beloved husband of Alice (Horsburgh) and beloved father of John (Hilde), George (Delta), Mary Rife (the late Jim Rife), Robert (Kathy), Tom (Lori), Will (Carol), Evelyn Gould (Tim), Sandra Percy (Karl) and Don (Kristin). Brother to predeceased Bill, Eileen Street, Russell and Helen. Loving Grandfather of 23 grandchildren Guen, Issac, Caleb, Katherine, Jake, Jennifer, Teresa, Dream, Erin, Deana, Joanne, Bryan, Christopher, Andrew, Alex, Liam, Vincent, Sarah, Nicole, Rachel, Simon, Dean, Howie and 27 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bob’s life at Duff’s Presbyterian Church, 319 Brock Rd S, Guelph (Aberfoyle) on Saturday, February 3 at 11:00 am. Visitations will be held at the church on Friday February 2 from 1:30 -3:30 pm and from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.

In memory of Bob donations can be made through Wall-Custance Funeral Home in Guelph, to Presbyterian World Service and Development or the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

A tree will be planted in memory of Robert J. McNeish in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
