Local Martial Artist Headed To Washington


Nathan Skoufis, 25, lifetime Puslinch
resident and owner and Head Instructor of Guelph Family Martial Arts has qualified for the U.S. Capitol Classics World Martial Arts Championships to be held in Washington, D.C. The Capitol Classics is one of the world’s premier events and draws competitors from all over the globe.

This is one of the longest running martial arts tournaments in the world. Skoufis will be entering the Capitol Classics seeded as the #1 ranked Welterweight NASKA fighter in the world. NASKA is the world’s largest and most prestigious sanctioning body for martial arts tournaments throughout the globe. NASKA ranks fighters based on their performance throughout the year.

Skoufis is a 16x World Champion and 3x NASKA World Champion. Skoufis has won the Capitol Classics multiple times.
