OPP Investigate Robbery On The Puslinch Tract -Ask Public For Help

On September 26, 2020, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a robbery that occurred on the Puslinch Tract near Wellington Road 32 south of Highway 401.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., the male victim was walking on the trail while taking photographs of nature when he was approached by two men. When the interaction occurred, the victim was on a small trail, just off the main trail that leads to the service centre, past the second pond. Following a brief, friendly verbal exchange the men stole his clothing, camera and bag which contained his wallet, cell phone and keys. The suspects were last seen walking on the trail towards the service centre.

Officers conducted extensive patrols of the area however, were not able to locate the suspects. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS for minor injuries that were as a result of walking in the wooded area.

Suspect #1 is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Male
  • Approximate age 30’s
  • Shoulder length hair
  • Scruffy facial
  • Wearing blue jeans and a grey short sleeve button down shirt

Suspect #2 is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Male
  • Average height
  • Mid length hair
  • Wearing blue jeans and a grey sweater with a front pocket/pouch – no hood
