First Nations, Inuit and Metis are collectively referred to as Indigenous people. This presentation will help us to understand that discovering distinctive cultures can be a rewarding pursuit for the family historian. CAROL TYLER a NOKOMIS (Grandmother) will lead the group in an Interactive Session by sharing stories related to seeking indigenous ancestors. PLEASE NOTE: This is a smoke-free, scent-free environment. Coffee/Tea are not permitted on the premises. Hot chocolate will be available. If a non-member of the Wellington County Branch, Ontario Ancestors, your donation is welcomed.
