Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre invites members of the community to attend their annual fundraising event ‘Celebrate Sunrise!’ on Sunday, June 4, 2017, and help make a difference in the lives of local children and adults with special needs. `Celebrate Sunrise!’ showcases the work being done by this nationally-accredited centre, and the amazing benefits and outcomes of Sunrise’s horse-based therapy, recreation and life skills programs.

The event will include a musical ride and a therapeutic riding demonstration by Sunrise riders, plus delicious food prepared by local chef Moe Vidotto (of Savour the Season, Guelph) and cookbook author Emily Richards. Guests will also have the opportunity to win many exciting items in the silent and live auctions, the latter led by entertaining auctioneer Robert Milburn.

Former Sunrise rider, Molly Burke, will be Sunrise’s special guest this year. Molly is a dynamic young motivational speaker, who is also blind. Molly has encouraged tens of thousands of youth and adults through her presentations, inspiring and encouraging her audiences to overcome adversity, embrace diversity and achieve their goals. Molly will be introduced by Honorary Sunrise Director Tommy Hunter, “Canada’s Country Gentleman”. Lisa Richards, of Magic 106.1 FM, will M.C. the event. ‘Celebrate Sunrise!’ will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4 (rain or shine) at the Sunrise Farm: 6920 Concession 1, Puslinch, N0B 2J0.

Sunrise thanks the many sponsors and supporters that make this event possible, led by Harvest Sponsors Capital Paving Inc. and UPI Energy LP.

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased in advance on-line at snapd.at/pew32q6 or at Sunrise: 519-837-0558 x35 or [email protected] . For more information about ‘Celebrate Sunrise!’ or Sunrise programs and activities, please visit sunrise-therapeutic.ca
