Canada 150 Community Infrastructure funds sought to address heating/cooling issues at Puslinch community centre

Puslinch councillors are applying for Canada 150 Community Infrastructure funds to address the heating/cooling system at the Puslinch Community Centre.

At the June 3 council meeting, CAO Karen Landry stated council has agreed to a recommendation for a Canada 150 Community Infrastructure application.

Landry said that on June 3, councillors agreed with a financial report to make the application.

It also means that council pre-approves funding of the electrical system upgrades of $26,000 currently in the 2016 forecast to be funded from the equipment replacement working reserve in the amount of $10,189 and the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program in the amount of $15,811…
