Puslinch Today

On Thursday night in Westover The Puslinch Old Timers travelled to take on Westover. The game exhibited great defensive plays all evening mixed with timely pitching. Westover took a 2-0 lead in the third but Puslinch answered back in the 5th with two of their own.

Ron Bless who pitched a complete 7 innings lead off the inning with a single and Cameron Tuck followed suit. Two hits later, Ron and Cameron came into score. The short bench of Puslinch made great defensive plays in the field, Doug Huether and Dan Logher made nice grabs in the outfield while Keith Mackie and Ron Aubin steadied the infield, including the last two outs of the seventh while the go ahead run for Westover was standing on third.

The tie keeps Puslinch in fourth and Westover only two points ahead in second at the top of a crammed leaders board with Sheffield and Copetown. Puslinch plays at the Community Centre on Monday night at 8:30pm against Lynden.
