Help For Those Hit By Deadly Puslinch Barn Fire
— January 7, 2016The horse racing community was busy Wednesday rallying around those members who lost their livelihood in Monday’s devastating Puslinch barn fire that killed 43 racehorses.
In just a day, a series of crowd funding efforts had raised almost $100,000.
The main page alone at www.gofundme.com saw over 400 people donate $80,000, a figure that was rising by the minute at times on Wednesday. Other fundraising efforts were ongoing throughout the harness community.
Harness legend Bill O’Donnell said the community is a tight-knit one and everyone will do what they can to help those who lost everything in the fire. …
