Theft At Aberfoyle Snowmobile In Puslinch

On August 22, 2016 at approximately 2:15 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft in progress at the Aberfoyle Snowmobile Store on Brock Road, Puslinch Township.

Unknown suspects in a newer white Chevrolet pickup truck knocked over the secured gate to gain access to the yard. A 2016 Artic-Cat Wildcat Sport Limited All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) was loaded on to the bed of the truck. Another stolen ATV followed the truck along Brock Road near Gilmour Road and an attempt was made to load it on to a second pickup truck described as red. However the theft was interrupted by the owners of the business that were contacted by a concerned citizen.

The red pickup truck was last seen heading east on Highway 401 and the white pickup truck headed west on Highway 401. Police were unable to locate the vehicles.
