Two Charged After Report Of Suspicious Vehicle In Puslinch

On January 13, 2018 at approximately 10:40 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Watson Road South, Township of Puslinch.

Homeowners had returned to find an occupied vehicle in their driveway. After a short conversation with the male driver and female passenger the vehicle fled south on Watson Road.

Investigation revealed the vehicle was reportedly stolen out of Toronto. As officers began to respond to this incident a second incident occurred approximately one kilometre south of the original location. Reports indicated a driver had lost control of a vehicle on some “S” bends on Watson road and struck a tree.

Officers arrived and found both occupants had fled on foot. With assistance from Guelph Police Service (G.P.S.) and the G.P.S. K9 unit, a track was initiated and both occupants were located. An imitation semi-automatic firearm was also located with the suspects upon arrest.

32-year-old Dale Anthony WILLIAMS of Brampton and 21-year-old Sarah NOORZAY of Mississauga have been charged with:

-Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5000

-Possess imitation weapon for dangerous purpose

-Obstruct Peace Officer

-Public Mischief

-Possession of Cocaine

-Possession of Marihuana

-Possession of a Credit Card

-Possession of break-in instruments

-Possession of a prohibited device

WILLIAMS has additionally been charged with Driving while under Suspension, and two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance. They were both held for a bail hearing at Guelph Criminal Court.
