On June 25, 2018 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen tractor from a construction site Wellington Road 34 near Concession 11, north east of Aberfoyle. A yellow 2015 Caterpillar® 420F Backhoe (similar to the one in the photo), valued at approximately $180,000 was stolen sometime between June 19, 2018 and June 26, 2018.

Anyone who may have witnessed the theft or if you drive in the area and have a dash-cam, please contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
