It was hot outside but hotter inside when Ken and John were cooking all the pancakes and eggs.
While many people were eating at the picnic tables or tables set inside the center, some children, like Dylan were busy outside bouncing on horses.
Brayden and Alexis enjoyed tossing rings and balls in the shade.
I caught up with the Gordon clan enjoying a chat and breakfast. (Front row) Dona, Robert and Alan, (Back row) Brittany, Meghan and Ashley.
Helpers inside and out, thanks Vinnie and Neil. I just happened to grab our local MPP Ted Arnott for a small chat as well.
Beautiful handmade quilts were on sale by the Aberfoyle Agricultural Society (thanks JoAnne and Gayle) and also by The Baden Community Center (3 for $5 or 2$ /the draw is on Aug.. 25). Gil and Fred Mahnke were conversing with Lois about the lovely designs.
After handing out plastic fire helmets, Neil, Russell, Connor and Luis helped Camdyn on some playground equipment. She helped prove to the community that firemen are not all work but also like to have fun.
