Arrests For Fentanyl And Methamphetamines In Puslinch

On Thursday November 22, 2018, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) check on Brock Road South, Aberfoyle. At approximately 1:30 a.m. a black pickup truck entered the RIDE. While speaking with the two female occupants, police formed the opinion that they were in possession of illegal drugs and the two were arrested. A search of the vehicle located drugs and a quantity of stolen tools. Both occupants were also discovered to have breach preceding court orders.

28-year-old, Amanda Marilyn WRIGHT, of Guelph, was charged with Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Failing to Comply with an Undertaking. She was held for bail.

18-year-old, Ashlee Marie GAGNON, of Guelph, was charged with Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, Failing to with Probation Order and Failing to Comply with an Undertaking. She was held for bail.
