All UGDSB Schools Set To Close Wednesday January 15th Due To Strike Action

On January 10, OSSTF announced that its teachers and education workers will take part in a one-day, full withdrawal of services in select locations across Ontario on January 15, 2020.

The UGDSB is listed as one of the school boards that will be included in the Jan. 15 job action. As a result, if the OSSTF Jan. 15 one-day strike proceeds, all UGDSB schools (elementary and secondary) will be closed to students on January 15, 2020. Schools will re-open to students on January 16.
