TOWNSHIP CLOSES INDOOR RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, the health and well-being of Township of
Puslinch (“Township”) residents remains our top priority. The Township continues to work closely with
our partners and public health officials to monitor and respond to new developments. The Government
of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health has recommended social distancing in order to slow the
spread of COVID-19.

In response, all Township indoor recreational facilities will be closed to the public effective
immediately from March 16 to April 5, 2020.

Residents are encouraged to delay any non-essential business with the Township or to consider
conducting business online or by phone, where possible. Staff are ensuring continuity of service for
essential services such as fire and road maintenance.

Taxes can be paid online through your financial institution. Burn permits and dog tags can be obtained
online at www.puslinch.ca. Building inspections and recreation bookings/cancellations can be arranged
by e-mail at [email protected]. Additionally, there is a secure 24/7 drop box at the Township
Municipal Office.

Further closures of public facilities will be considered as conditions change.

All Township parks, fields, trails and outdoor spaces will remain open and available for residents to
enjoy.

“The Township of Puslinch continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation and will implement
changes as necessary,” said Mayor Seeley. “The Township will continue to work with our partners and
follow the guidance of public health officials.”
