Emergency School Age Child Care Programme Update

With the extension of remote learning in Wellington County and the City of Guelph, the County of Wellington is pleased to announce the approval of 30 additional emergency school age child care spaces. The YMCA of Three Rivers will provide the service at Rickson Ridge Public School in Guelph.

“The County of Wellington continues to work with our local child care service providers to expand the Emergency School Age Child Care Programme,” said Luisa Artuso, Director of the Children’s Early Years Division. “Families are to connect directly with service providers who will fill spaces on a first-come-first-served basis. Our Division is working very closely with service providers to ensure registration and eligibility requirements are completed as quickly as possible.”
