Stunt Driving Charge In Puslinch


OPP On July 27, 2021 at approximately 2:00 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic and conducting laser on Wellington Road 36 in the Township of Puslinch. The officer observed a black motor vehicle travelling westbound at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted 50 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on laser in excess of 110 km/h.

As a result, a 19-year-old male of Puslinch Township, has been charged with Stunt Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

The defendant is scheduled to appear in Guelph at the Ontario Court of Justice – Provincial Offences Court on September 1, 2021.

Their driver’s licence was suspended for a period of seven days and their vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per statute.
