Emergency School-Age Child Care Program For Front Line Families

The County of Wellington is working with licensed childcare workers in Guelph and Wellington County to offer emergency school-age child care program for children of health care and other eligible front line workers at no cost.

Beginning Jan. 4, all schools pivoted to remote learning until Jan. 17 as part of the Ontario government’s response to the rising numbers of COVID-19 cases due to the Omicron variant. All licensed before and after school care, school board operated and authorized recreation and skill building programmes will also be closed during this time period…
