A Celebration Of Life: Eleanor Martin

Formerly of Puslinch, passed away at Hospice Wellington on Friday, Sept 2 2022, in her 92nd year.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Charles Martin (Feb 2014). Loved mother of Keith Martin of London, Janice (Bill) O Krafka of Guelph, and Carol (Greg) MacDonald of Whitby. Much loved and cherished grandmother of Jeffrey, Katelyn (Jordan), Kristine (Chris), Cooper, and Carlene. Great grandmother of Jackson, Charles, Zoey, Annie, and William.

Eleanor will be missed by all her family and friends. She is predeceased by siblings Charlotte McWhirter, Harold Biers, Kenneth Biers, Robert Biers, Wallace Biers, Raymond Biers, and Sheila McQueen.

Eleanor was born in Cochrane, Ontario, her parents Harold and Sadie (Barnes) Biers, the seventh of eight children. Eleanor moved to Guelph where she completed her Nursing training and graduated from Nursing in 1953. Met and married the love of her life in 1954 and moved to a farm in Puslinch Township where we all have many cherished memories.

She was a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

The family would like to thank all of the Nurses, Personal Support Workers, and volunteers at Hospice Wellington.
