A special weather statement has been issued by environment Canada. Wind gusts up to 90 km/h expected Wednesday.
A cold front will move across the regions early Wednesday morning. Strong westerly winds will develop in its wake with gusts to 90 km/h expected at times Wednesday.
Winds will gradually begin to diminish Wednesday evening.
These winds may produce power outages in some places.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
