Puslinch meeting to better connect concerned citizens with municipal officials

via Guelph Mercury PUSLINCH—Gravel Watch Ontario is staging a public meeting Thursday in Puslinch touting how community activists might best engage local politicians.

The watchdog for the Ontario aggregates industry is hosting Ingersoll Mayor Ted Comiskey as a guest speaker for the evening function. Comiskey has worked with concerned citizens in the Ingersoll area over a proposal to covert a former gravel pit in that area into a landfill site.

The theme of the meeting is “Partnering With Municipal Leaders.” There is an admission charge to attend.

The presentation starts at 7 p.m., at the Puslinch Community Centre, at 23 Brock Rd., S.
