A Celebration of Puslinch Lives – Ronald John McLean and Jim Hamilton
— October 10, 2015I received an email this week from Marjorie Clark letting me know that two well-known Puslinch men have died recently and I wanted to share that information with our readers. I’m sure everyone in Puslinch joins me in offering our condolences to the families.
Ronald John McLean was born in Badenoch, Puslinch, lived in Aberfoyle all but the last couple of years of his adult life, when ill health forced him to move to an apartment. Click here to read more about Mr. McLean
Jim Hamilton of Hamilton’s Garage on the corner of the Arkell Road and the Brock Road (now Gordon St. S.), lived there all of his life. It was part of Puslinch Township until c.1966, when it was annexed to Guelph. His family actually settled on that lot in the 1830’s and it has been in the family ever since.
