Puslinch Mayor Discusses Water Taking Permits In Letter To Guelph Council
Below is a letter sent from Dennis Lever, Mayor of Puslinch, to the Guelph Mayor and Councillors regarding the discussion of water taking permits – specifically that of Nestle Waters Canada. Click on on the letter to see the full size original PDF.
I appreciate the concern for jobs, but at what cost ?
No water / Bad water for everyone who owns property around here
Billions of scrap Plastic bottles
De-Valued Property Values
Nestle the billion dollar foreign company can surely re-located their workers, unfortunately we cannot re-locate our homes when the water goes bad
Ontario needs to investigate into what is going on here, the amount of ground water given away to companies in puslinch seems high for the small area it consumes
