I managed to make it to the pottery market and I was blown away by the high calibre of pottery skills. Janus and Barb were kind enough to pose and then answer my many questions. Did you know that each artist enters a juried show and then is chosen to be an exhibitor? I didn’t. As I milled around I saw many items that I liked. It was evident that I was not alone in my pursuit of something different.
Miriam and Rick from Guelph visited all 36 stalls before picking up some pottery. Shannon narrowed down her choice to a beautiful cup. Many vendors expressed that the venue was great! They felt the patrons were “pottery forward” in their thinking and appreciated the time and effort it took to create the many different objects. The date for 2018 is the last weekend in October.
