On September 22, 2018, at approximately 5:00 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a pick-up truck and a sedan at the intersection of Brock Road and Maltby Road in Puslinch Township.

40-year-old Matthew COURTNEY of Guelph was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two others were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wellington County OPP and Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) continue to investigate the collision.
