Friends Of Valens Host Bird Box Building Workshop

On Jan 27th, the Friends of Valens hosted a bird box building workshop. Though it was a cold and snowy day, volunteers came out to construct 27 bird nesting boxes. A big thank you to all the volunteers that gave up part of their Sunday to assemble these boxes and help make Valens Lake a better place.

In April, once the ground thaws, we will be installing these boxes throughout the park. We will post details soon. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these events, please contact the Friends of Valens.
