Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamines And Cannabis Seized At Puslinch RIDE Checks

On Friday, May 10, 2019, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) check on Townline Road in Puslinch.
At approximately 11:00 p.m., a vehicle entered the RIDE check. While speaking with the driver, police observed drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. Investigation led to the arrest of the driver and the seizure of small amounts of heroin, methamphetamines, and cannabis.
Isaac Richard FINCH, 37-years-old of Cambridge was charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (2 counts).
- Drive Vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available contrary to the Controlled Cannabis Act 2017.

On Friday May 10, 2019 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) check on Gore Road in Puslinch Township. At approximately 9:45 p.m. the driver of a white passenger vehicle entered the R.I.D.E. check.
While speaking with the driver, officers suspected they had consumed alcohol. The driver refused to provide a breath sample upon demand. The accused was subsequently arrested. A search of the accused resulted in the seizure of a small quantity of cocaine.
As a result, Stanley M WALTON, 41-years-old of Cambridge, has been charged with Failure to Comply with Breath Demand and Possession of Cocaine. A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on June 14, 2019.
