How to Get Fit in Puslinch

Hello everyone! I should first introduce myself…My name is Nichole Caswell. I’ve been a resident of Puslinch for almost my whole life and absolutely love this community. As a Fitness and Nutrition Coach, I’ll be sharing with you my experiences, related to health and fitness, and some tips and ways to stay active in Puslinch.

About a year ago, I decided that I needed a change. I wasn’t happy with my body, I had cravings all of the time and I had little to no energy to do the things I love. I’d start and finish many different programs, but then, fall back into old (unhealthy) habits. It wasn’t until I started Coaching, that I saw real changes (see my Facebook page for results).

Let me say this: I am NOT AN EXPERT. I have no formal training in either fitness or nutrition, but I have many years of fitness experience and knowledge around healthy living, backing me up.

I lead a busy lifestyle (like many of you), I’m a single mom and I work full time. So, finding the time to take care of myself has been challenging … BUT … I’ve made a commitment to myself and am putting ME first. How can I take care of my family, if I’m not taking care of myself?? Right!!

So, how do I do this? I use 30-60 minute home workout videos and have made eating healthy a priority. I run accountability groups on Facebook, which helps me, along with others, stay on track.

How can I help YOU?

My goal is to share my journey with you and help you see the success and joy that can be achieved by living a healthy lifestyle. As your coach, I want to see you succeed and am here to help in whatever way you would like. Some people need the daily check-in; others like to post in my Facebook group when they need motivation or encouragement. Whatever support you need, I’ll provide it.

What will I do and how do YOU benefit?

I provide fitness and nutrition tips, motivation and encouragement, and if interested, an exclusive, private group on Facebook, where support is provided from me, but also from others in the same situation as you. Additionally, I host many clean eating and fitness challenges, all of which are FREE!

What can you expect from these articles?

Fitness tips, nutrition advise and personal experience from myself and other team members as we navigate through the (sometimes rough) waters of eating healthy and staying active.

**Fitness Tip of the Day: Aim for eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day! Research shows that drinking cold water actually enhances weight loss. Best yet, staying well hydrated will help you beat that afternoon energy slump and boost your skin health. Drink up!
