Melt in Your Mouth Christmas Shortbread Cookies

It’s Christmastime!

LET’S BAKE Melt in Your Mouth Shortbread Cookies

Because they are whipped with a beater, these shortbread cookies have a different texture than the usual. They are very light and melt in your mouth. Try them this year.


  • 1 lb. of butter
  • 1 cup of sifted icing sugar
  • 3 ½ cups of sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla


  • Whip butter until fluffy
  • Slowly add icing sugar and continue whipping with each addition
  • Gradually add the flour and continue whipping with each addition
  • Add vanilla
  • Beat 3 minutes
  • Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet
  • Bake at 325-350 degrees until light brown
